How fast escapes, 17 LEDs, 3 AAA batteries, if the 18 candela LED each?
I'm using LEDs of this site: It http://www.superbrightleds.com/leds.htm are product number RL5-W18-15 technical specifications are: http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/w18015_specs.htm I want to replace the 17 LED flashlight weak in my cheap, I have no idea how powerful they are, with 17 of these LEDs of 18 candela. The light runs on 3 AAA batteries that I believe are a series. I think all the LEDs run on 1.5 volts. My question is how long batteries last through good quality? in Advance. I'll check that site. Furthermore, there is resistance, or anything else for that matter of the PCB that the resistors are soldered a. Basically what I want ... is an LED flashlight that is bright enough to really stun and blind temperature of an intruder in my house at night.
It's not as simple as replacing the LEDs. Most of them have a current limiting resistor in series. The change may mean brighter LED resistance to change also. Click the link below. This guy has a lot of information about many things!
