The Gumball 3000 was founded in 1999 by Maximillion Cooper, a former Armani model, which was inspired by the â € œCannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy € Dasha, an officer, almost outlawed, coast to coast road race in New York, Los Angeles, which took place four times during the 1970s before being canceled due to concerns about road safety from police.

Maximllion Cooper set to revive the spirit of the original Cannonball races in the summer of 1999, the combination of units of time throughout the day with decadent night parties. Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn € â € œJackassâ entered the rally as did extreme sports legend, Tony Hawk with Drivers enjoy a post-race party in Los Angeles organized by the hip-hop fan Snoop Dogg. Unfortunately, the success of this race couldn € ™ t be repeated the following year.

Upon arrival in Amsterdam for the start of the rally in 2007, participants were welcomed by the Dutch police, with 14 police cars and 7 unmarked cars. Rap star Xzibit had revoked his license for a speeding violation, and two cars were confiscated. Things worse yet, when the German police detained about 70 vehicles for speeding offenses, the following day before tragedy struck just days later, when two participants in the demonstration were involved in a collision at high speed in the Republic of Macedonia. The drivers reportedly crashed into another vehicle while they were doing speeds exceeding 200 kilometers per hour. The elderly couple who arrive both died on the way to hospital.

Despite the disastrous events of last year, Maximillion Cooper Gumball 3000 is running once again this year, starting in San Francisco and the final in Beijing, China. Gumball Rally 2008 was also established on the basis of many car enthusiasts regularly with the companies of Many credit car presumably rubbing their hands with glee at the idea that money motor fans spend in the last car, all of them eager to hobnob with celebrities taking part in an adventure of his life.
