What is the value of an Apollo Kuwahara BMX (model 1983)?
Everything is original except the seat, and has all original and distinctive decal. It's blue.
Although Kuwahara was a way big-name-again-time, this highly respected and well-built bike, probably not worth more than $ 20 or less, unless you can find a collector who has to have. Vintage bikes are very price sensitive when it comes to originality, and the chair is one of those things that a place much value on the bike. To give you an idea, and original vintage Schwinn Stingray seat can cost as much as $ 1,000 for himself, and an original seat of a bicycle Yamaha bike (another 70s BMX) can cost $ 500 or so just for the seat. Therefore, if you can find an original seat of the bike that the price increase significantly, but until then I am afraid you have a lemon.
