Griptape Blank
i got a new Blank Skateboard deck about 2 weeks ago, i skated with it almost everyday since then,?
but 2 days ago it started to feel like there was no pop in it. i did skate in the rain and it made the whole griptape wet but it was only drizzling so i dont think it is waterlogged, but my friend dropped some water from his water bottle on it too. help please
Well, it all depends what wood the board was made with.
Blank decks tend to use really cheap wood, which is why they are so cheap to buy.
Skating in the rain will also ruin your pop as it causes the wood to swell and dilutes the glue that holds the plys together. This will make your tail spongey.
I'd say it was time for a new deck!
