Does anyone remember an old way of dyeing eggs where there is oil (not water) in a container with food coloring?
I'm trying to find to this ancient way of doing it. I have no success. its not a website that has sailed. when I was little, my grandmother dyed eggs in large bowl containing a mixture of water and oil and food coloring was in the oil, but the colors were "not suspended", all mixed together. he had to glide the egg pan gently in the egg mixture and bring back up and was covered with a plastic like coating of the swirling, marble eggs future. were beautiful. I've never been able to duplicate it. Has anyone seen this? Kitty no offense, but DUH! if she was alive, I would!
