OK, so here goes. I am new to paintball and I'm looking for a weapon thats good balance between speed and range? A Tippmann 98 custom with ACT (anti-chop technology) good? He says he can run on CO2 compressed air or nitrogen is bad change that is used and to change requires a different tank for each? or a kind of spider is best for a beginner? It's also good to have a vest that covers the kidneys and other parts important body? How much damage can a paint ball if you got hit in certain spots? They are used for knee or simply PROTECTION in case you slide? which is more common to find service stations paintball sites for CO2 compressed air or nitrogen? I know nothing and courier instant just digging for information for any help THANKS
A Tippmann 98 custom with ACT (anti-chop technology) good? ** Yes, is fine, but almost the same money, I'd go for the Tippmann A-5. Cyclone feed is better than most battery powered hoppers out there, and the weapon is very expandable and customizable. If you're playing mostly woodsball, A-5 is the way forward, unless you want to spend more than x-7 states that can run on CO2 air compressed nitrogen or change is bad and that is used to change requires a different container for each? ** No problem when switching between them and will eat Tippis any kind of air, no problem. CA, HPA, and nitrogen are the same thing, and you need to use different, more expensive than the tank has the most pressure. CO2 is cheaper to begin with, but HPA is better in many respects and worth the investment. BTW, never try to use a CO2 tank HPA, is going to explode. or is some kind of spider better for a beginner? ** Kingman / Spyder are big guns, such as Smart Parts, but only if you're playing mostly speedball. They do not are as strong as wood Tippmanns to play but many players use so successfully. It's also good to have a vest that covers the kidneys and other important parts the body? ** Not really need one worse than a paintball can do for your skin is to leave a bruise. Eye protection is more important, so I invest in a good set of glasses and wear heavy fogless if you're worried. You may want to buy a vest to take their pods and other things, however. How much damage can make a paintball you if you got hit in certain places? ** See, but I would also buy a cup or shorts slider if plan to have children:) Is used for knee or simply PROTECTION if slide? ** They are good to have for sliding and knees in, and they do protect an area which is mainly the skin and nerves on the bone, no fat padding to protect them. I like. What is more common to find service stations in places CO2 paintball compressed air or nitrogen? ** CO2 is in all paintball fields, but not all HPA offer, and if they do, they can only offer low pressure (3000 psi) is filled, it is not a problem If you have a tank of high pressure (4500psi) only means that you will have fewer injections. Many fields are offering free refills all day HPA, so if you play a lot, you can save some $ $ $ here, and HPA is easier on the internals of your gun fire, which will maintain the gun.
