I have a blue paradise gourami, the other is dead, and he is alone, any suggestions for tankmates?
What with some neons? also if he moves to 30 liters may be with an angel and some small fish and swordtails and lemon tetras and bleeding heart tetras? and a Plecostomus?
Paradise another died because he was with another paradise. These are fish friendly, especially towards their own or similar species. Any banks of small fish, Catfish, Loaches, or short-finned Livebearers should be fine. Avoid fish with fins or overly aggressive fish. EDIT: The Tetras, Mollies, Swordtails, and Pleco (assuming it's a small speices) should be OK, but I would leave out the Angel. Both Paradise Gouramis and Angelfish are very territorial and a 30 gallon tank will not have enough space to set up separate territorial boundaries.
