Can Castor Boards (wave board, ripstik, etc.) are used for transportation?
I live about 15 minutes by bike to my high school. My bike only broke and I was thinking about getting a castor board. The distance covered on the sidewalks without problems, but I have to carry a heavy backpack. Is it feasible for me to rid a ripstik wave board or school? Board Can castor go at a decent speed and I balance with a backpack?
You can balance with the bag, yes. Do not get a high tide or wave board! They suck ... Ripstik is bigger, faster, lighter and lasts longer. And besides, I am size 4 in mens' and 6 in the jacket and my feet hanging from the side of a board of high tide. It's small as shit! If your usage is for transportation I think it is possible you want to get the G. Ripstik It 's lighter and faster than the board of castor and wheels are better. (It is easiest) Go for it. I use a Ripstik to transport all the time! =] (I'm not saying that the castor boards are bad, I mean that is what I have. I love that it is not the wrong way. But listen, waves and high tides suck!)
