Rollerblade Spiritblade Which is a better Rollerblade?
The K2 Exo Men's In-Line Fitness Skate vs. Rollerblade Spiritblade III Men's In-Line Fitness Skate vs. K2 Moto Men's In-Line Fitness Skate? Are aluminum frames better than composite frames? Which is best for beginners?
Fit is the most important. Each of the skates will fit some feet better than others.
Stamped or multi piece aluminum frames are better than plastic.
Extruded aluminum frames are the best.
Composite and other terms are used to sound better than plastic.
Larger wheels are better. I would consider 80mm a minumum (they used to be only on the best skates). Anything smaller could be difficult to replace in the future. I would recommend that a beginner consider 84 or 90mm as the maximum depending on your balance skills and ankle strength. The 100mm and larger wheels are more difficult to balance on or get moving.
Ignore bearing ratings. ABEC does not measure anything that is applicable to skating.
