Do I really need bands for my skateboard?
Ive heard that bands do to prevent wheel bite and cushion the blows. I heard that band or if you dont need a shorter wheelbase and 52mm and 52mm wheels i ride. so I have bands or not?
52mm is pretty small and really not needed unless bands their trucks are too loose. Wheelbite and the clash are two things that will happen to you while you are skateboarding no matter if you have stripes or not. Personally, I skate with bands, but I know many people who do. If you like to bow and bend to the Board in turn, rather than increasing the front pushing the tail, then get some bands and cruise around the trucks with more flexible. Just keep in mind that bands do tricks much more difficult.
