I will def go with the original castor board, the wave. It's been around much longer than the ripstik and leaf table, for therefore have more to offer. He won over the board of the highest quality and most stable. The board ripstik and blade are toys compared to the wave, not of good quality, you can not swap the plates, and there is much selection or accessories. In addition, you can do some sick tricks on a wave board, have some vids up there or you can go to youtube (as Fox Kids, Cross, Wang Bros) making some innovative moves are sweet. Regarding the control and ease, the wave is the softer ride. I and my colleagues have tried all the tips of ricin and the wave is def the way to go.
