It is the wooden platform on which you stand while riding. The deck along with the other parts of the skateboard should be of superior quality to avoid any accidents while riding. If you feel your grip tape has become dirty use an old tooth brush and some soapy water to wash out the dirt. Once you have washed your skateboard you dry it with a towel and go skating again. Remember the more care you take of your skateboard deck, the longer it will last!
