Why do the Wave Board wheels suck so Bad??

Are there any Replacement Wheels that will last alot longer?? Mine literally broke after 2 weeks of use. I love the waveboard but hate the wheels!

Hey, what's up, I actually ride The Wave too. I've never gone through the wheels that fast, but I have gone through them quickly sometimes. Alot has to do with the surface you are ridin'. The smoother the surface, the longer the wheel will last. Here is a tip - once the back wheel starts to wear out (because the back wheel wears faster due to the motion of the board), rotate the front wheel to the back and the back wheel to the front. This will def let you get more time outta your wheels. That's what me and my buddies do to try and make'em last longer. If you haven't seen their Wheel Package deals on thewave.com, check'em, diff colors and all that.

I've heard it through the grapevine that Street Surfing (makers of The Wave) are developing a better, more advanced wheel that will last longer, and it should be out shortly, so keep an eye out and check back at their website to stay up to date. I've been checkin' their website every week trying to see what new stuff is goin on, plus they got some cool vids/pics up there. Either way keep an eye out for new wheels from street surfing.

DO NOT PUT Rollerblade Wheels on your WAVE. They are actually softer than THE WAVE wheels, and will wear out in a day, trust me, i've tried. Another thing to realize is that you may have just gotten some bad wheels (as with anything, sometimes there are issues with a certain batch or whateva, maybe it was just a bad batch of wheels, i dunno), because I've never had them break on me.

My advice is to keep rotating the wheels when necessary to get the most time out of them, ride the smoothest areas possible, and keep an eye out for the newer, better wheels that Street Surfing is developing.
