Alright, our country (US) has been giving tremendous amounts of money and military asst. to Mid- East countries, mainly Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan but there's others, for years. Where's the money going? If we all of a sudden stopped the giving of money and just left the military presents there, would they go broke? I mean, as long as there are people like Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, Taliban and other groups messing around and creating havoc, we and other countries send money to deal with these people, right? And it probably gets funneled down to those who were trying to stop. A woman like Bhutto was beginning to show the world that individuals like Pervez Musharraf "may" have crooked. We've gave the guy a crap load of money and he has nothing to show for it. Could he be funding those who are tearing this world apart? Anyway, as long as a country like Pakistan allows people like Bin Laden to thrive, I guess our "big wheels" on the hill will keep forking over the greenbacks.
We are guilty of giving them a blank check with little or no accountability. I hate to say it but I ofter wonder what happen if we went in there, leveled the place, took over the nuke facility and that's that. Just a thought. Not a serious one.
